What does a boat charter website include, and what does it cost?

A brochure site with tours, what the price includes, a gallery and WhatsApp booking starts at ₺30,000 and goes live in about 3 days once the content is ready. A site with a page per boat and several languages runs from ₺50,000 and takes 1 week; an availability calendar and booking panel starts at ₺150,000.

Boat Charter, The search

Guests are searching for an evening, not a boat.

Searches come in as 'Bosphorus tour', 'sunset boat', 'yacht for a proposal', with a date and a number of people attached. Visitors want three things answered: how many can come aboard, what the price includes, where the boat leaves from.

Each tour card should answer all three. Are food, drinks, music, the captain and fuel included or not? A site that leaves this out moves the question to WhatsApp, and you end up typing the same answer to every guest.

The opening video on a boat site is heavy by nature. We do not download it when the page opens; a single still frame shows until then, and the video plays only once it enters the screen. A guest on a phone sees the first screen without waiting, and the booking button does not wait for the video either.

Sea Pleasure is a private boat and yacht charter site on the Bosphorus in Istanbul: a video opening, tour cards that list what the price includes, and one-tap WhatsApp booking from every section. We removed the mandatory form on purpose; the departure point and a gallery of real shots are on the site too.

What to ask before you commission a charter site

  • Are the photos of your boat?

    A site that opens with stock yacht photos disappoints guests at the pier, and that comes back as a cancellation or a bad review. Make the proposal say whether the shoot happens on your own boat and who handles the sunset and deck shots.

  • Is there one departure point on the map?

    If you sail from several piers, each tour should show its own departure point. A guest at the wrong pier misses the tour while the crew gives directions by phone. Ask whether every tour card comes with its own map link.

  • Will foreign guests read the page in their language?

    Tourists search for 'Bosphorus yacht', not 'Boğaz turu'. Without an English page at its own address with its own headings, you do not show up for that search. The proposal should say whether translation is automatic or done by hand.

Asked before the proposal

Should I show prices on the site?

A starting price cuts down messages that only ask for a price and moves guests straight to asking about dates. You update seasonal prices from the panel, and special-occasion packages can say 'ask for a quote'.

Is taking bookings on WhatsApp enough?

For one boat and fixed tours, yes; the message opens with ready text saying which tour it came from. Once several boats and tours overlap on the same day you need a calendar, and that is when we move to a booking panel.

Can the site take a deposit?

Yes. Online payment is set up together with the booking calendar, and the confirmation goes to the guest automatically. The payment provider application is made in your company's name; we build the integration.

Can we show reviews on the site?

We link from the site to the reviews on your Google Business Profile, so guests read them at the source with their dates. A review copied onto the site by hand is text the reader cannot verify.
