What to ask before you commission a customs broker site

  • Who publishes regulation updates, and how fast?

    When a new communiqué or additional duty is announced, clients check your site first. If you have to write to the agency and wait, the news is stale. Check that updates are set up as dated entries you add yourself from the panel.

  • Which documents does the enquiry form ask for?

    A form that asks clients to upload invoices or declarations adds needless weight in data protection and trade secrecy. At first contact the regime, the type of goods and the directorate are enough; documents come through a secure channel once the file is opened.

  • Can foreign clients find you?

    A foreign company shipping to Türkiye searches for a broker in English. English pages without their own address and titles do not show up in those searches. Have it written that you approve the English names of the regimes.

We have several branches. Can all of them be shown?

Each branch has its own page with its address, the directorates it works at and a contact person. The enquiry form includes a branch choice and goes straight to that branch.

Can clients see the status of their file on the site?

That goes beyond a brochure site and is a panel job, discussed in the panel band. On the brochure site, the name of the person following the file and a direct way to reach them are written out.
