Families look for two things: trust and a day.

Someone researching a care home is searching for a parent: 'residential dementia care', 'nursing home Kartal', 'care centre for stroke patients'. They ask about price, but what they really want to know is how a day goes there: who cares for them, what they eat, who is on duty at night.

The site answers with the flow of a day, real photos of the kitchen and shared spaces, and who the nurses and carers are; then it invites the family to visit.

What to ask before you commission a care home site

  • Do the residents' photos have consent?

    Every resident in an activity photo is an identifiable person, and needs to consent or have their legal representative's permission. Faces without consent should be blurred, or photos taken from behind. The proposal should say photos will be chosen under this rule.

  • Is the licence information visible?

    Families ask whether the home is officially licensed. Showing the operating licence, the responsible manager and the medical staff clearly on the site is the first step of trust. Ask the agency where it will put this information.

  • Is the site readable for an older visitor?

    Besides the son or daughter researching, the older person deciding with them may read it too. Large type, high contrast and a few clear buttons are a requirement here, not a style choice. Try reading the agency's past work on a phone without zooming.

Should we list our fees on the site?

Fees depend on the room type and the level of care, so a single figure on the site misleads. Describing the care and rooms and discussing fees during the visit or by phone is a fairer start for the family.

Can there be a space for regular updates to families?

Yes, a section with a panel can hold announcements and activity notes. Information about individual residents belongs in direct contact with the family, not on a public page.

Will you help us show up on Google Maps?

At launch we make sure the address, phone number and hours in your Business Profile match the site. In searches for 'nursing home' plus the district, the profile and the site support each other.
